Squad Game: Bulgari’s inspirational brand ambassadors
The main pop girls who are making celebrity endorsement great again.
When it comes to making itself agreeable to the Zoomers, Bulgari certainly has its ways. One of its latest engagements that demonstrate this best is the naming of Zendaya as its ambassador. Making her first entrance in the role at the B.zero1 Rock launch event a couple of years back, the Spider-Man and Euphoria star who donned Bulgari’s exquisite diamond-studded necklace expectedly drove social media into a frenzy.
Since then, Zendaya has become a staple figure at the House as she is on the red carpet. She consistently gives a fresh interpretation of the brand every time she makes her high- profile outing, attending prestigious events such as Venice Film Festival, Emmy Awards and the Oscars, as she imbues each Bulgari creation with a youthful zest. This similarly translates in a number of ad campaigns she has participated in including the Magnifica 2021.
Speaking of which, the campaign also saw a special appearance by Blackpink’s Lisa. Her relationship with Bulgari to date has been marked by several exclusive events notably the Bulgari Colours exhibition where she was spotted wearing a selection of stunning jewellery in vibrant hues. The one-fourth of the world’s biggest girl group brings with her that indomitable Gen Z spirit that has inspired her over 70 million followers and the Roman jeweller itself.
Another inspirational personality that has been welcomed into the Bulgari household is Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The Quantico and The White Tiger actress who is also a global Unicef Goodwill Ambassador and recipient of the Danny Kaye Humanitarian award is set to support the jewellery house in the amplification of its brand around the world, with a particular focus on the themes of women empowerment, diversity and inclusion.
